4WD DRIVING TRAINING DAYS COMING UP!

About

I'm Adam, an explorer based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

My ideal weekend is spent somewhere remote, with a camp fire and no cell phone reception.

Through 2017 to 2019, my wife and I spent two years travelling the world, exploring some of the craziest places through Mexico, South America and Eastern Europe.

Then, in January 2019, while in snowy Croatia, I was out for a run and was hit by a car. I managed to walk back to our apartment with no significant damage, but on that walk, I decided I didn't want to die in Croatia. It was a reminder that life is short, and I would much rather explore New Zealand with family and friends than waste my time exploring the dodgy backroads of Eastern Europe by myself.

I love to explore new places, far from the hustle and bustle of city life. Camping. Bon fires. Hiking.

Right: in 2018 we explored the Uyuni salt flat in Bolivia, the largest area of flat land in the world.

It only made sense to buy a Suzuki Jimny for my adventures.

Although these are an amazing wee truck to start exploring with, they do need a few extra things to make touring and off-roading more enjoyable and reliable. As there aren't many parts available in New Zealand, I'm sourcing a few, locally and from overseas.

In my line of work (I own a business called Dori Apparel) we import lots of products from different parts of the world. While we're importing a few things, I also import a few Jimny bits, which are the items for myself and other Jimny owners, that you can find in the Accessories section of my website.

When I'm not 4wding, I enjoy running, enjoying events like the Queenstown Marathon and the Kathmandu Coast to Coast.
