A smaller, stronger option to access your roof, these are a simple 2 step ladder that mounts to the standard door hinges. These are a very strong option and also ideal for those with a large spare tyre.

They're also great for mounting a jerry can to the back of your Jimny. You can fold out the bottom step, and strap your jerry can or recovery boards to the ladder.

Awesome ladder for my Jimny

I originally bought a ladder that attaches to the rear door. Had it on for about 30 minutes and decided that I didn't like it because it makes that rear looks too busy. Nothing wrong with the ladder, it's just not the look I am after, though it looks good in the picture. So I the bought the tailgate hinge ladder, looks much cleaner and minimalistic. It is stronger too because it's attached on the taildlgate hinge bolts. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for the minimalist look. Now I have to sell my other ladder.
