About

I'm Adam, an explorer based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

My ideal weekend is spent somewhere remote, with a camp fire and no cell phone reception.

Through 2017 to 2019, Nancy and I spent two years travelling the world, exploring some of the craziest places through Mexico, South America and Eastern Europe. We were working remote, managing our New Zealand businesses from Airbnbs. Then, in January 2019, while in Croatia, we decided it was time to come home, but there was one rule: Life had to remain exciting.

One of the most exciting things has to be exploring, discovering new places, far from the hustle and bustle of city life. Camping. Bon fires. Hiking.

Right: in 2018 we explored the Uyuni salt flat in Bolivia, the largest area of flat land in the world.

It only made sense to buy a Suzuki Jimny for our adventures.

Although these are an amazing wee truck to start exploring with, they do need a few extra things to make touring and off-roading more enjoyable and reliable. As there aren't many parts available in New Zealand, I'm sourcing a few, locally and from overseas.
