xOne of the best things about the Jimny is their size, except when it comes to travelling with gear. These roof racks help with that.
These are made mostly from alloy to reduce weight and are specially designed for the new Suzuki Jimny.
Weight: 23kg. Ladder weight: 3.7kg.
Don't be fooled by cheap copies of our roofracks - we've made several improvements to these since we started selling them in 2019.
- In 2021 to include various improvements, including better quality bolts and better powder coating for extended durability.
- In 2023 we've changed how all steel components of these are treated before being powdercoated.

ROOF TENT COMPATIBLE
Yes, many of our customers have put roof tents on our roofracks and they work well. The tent base needs to be wide enough to fit on top of the side of the roofrack, as that is going to be the easiest/best way to mount them. Read more HERE about adding a roof tent to a new Jimny
Important note:
We are no longer stocking the roofrack with inbuilt lights. These roofracks do not include the front lightbars.

Great roof rack and ladder however very disappointed that there was NO instructions that came with either the ladder or the rack. The instructions online for the roof rack were not good either, this made installation twice as long as it needed to be. This defiantly let the products down

Fast delivery as usual and great communication from nz jimny. Piece of cake to assemble and mount. Looks great and is sturdy. Little bit of extra wind noise but nothing too bad.
Great feedback, thanks Aaron! To reduce any wind noise, you're best to mount the tray right at the back of the roof, so it's nearly touching the aerial at the back. Hope that helps

We couldn’t wait to test it out—so naturally, we threw a set of drawers on top (because why not?), and guess what? This bad boy didn’t even flinch! Held my 95kg weight like a champ. 💪 The rack’s rock-solid and ready for whatever adventure you’ve got lined up.
A little heads-up: there are a few extra bits in the box (mainly for light fixtures), so don’t worry if you’ve got some leftover parts after assembly. And the ladder? It needed a bit of elbow grease to pop over the top of the door, but once it’s on, it’s a snug fit and totally transforms the look. 🛠️

After a very fast delivery an email arrived to help with the installation. While it took me quite a lot longer than the video time lapse, I am super happy. The roof rack is very solid and quality finish. The installation is straight forward thanks to same size screws being used, but a bit fiddly getting bolts on. Ladder is straight forward to install. Great finish.

The roof rack and ladder were easy to assemble and install. Couple of cautions, be sure to mount the rack as far back on the roof as you can but still clear of the antenna mount. Also don’t fit the extra light brackets unless installing additional lights. These 2 items will ensure you don’t get too much wind noise from the rack. A good addition to my Jimny.
