For this to fit nicely under the original JB74 Jimny bumper, you'll need to trim a small amount of plastic from the underside of the front bumper, but the front of the bumper is not effected at all.
As shown in the photo, the round piece slides into the lateral chassis rail, providing lots of strength.
Includes all bolts and mounts required to install, and installation will only take 5 minutes.
This product will fit the JB74 (3 door Jimny) and the JC74 (5 door Jimny).
Made from 8mm steel plate.

I fitted right and left hand front recovery points (extended version - for original plastic bumper) to my Jimny the weekend before heading away for Easter / Anzac holiday 4wd around Central Otago.
The pipe section of each recovery point sockets into the tubular end of the forward cross member which then governs where the clamping plate is secured. For the RH side I required to notch the underside of the plastic bumper whereas the LH point included relief to clear the edge of the bumper.
They recovery points look the part but do collect tussock and other vegetation when maximizing approach angle. Also it's obvious that these are mild steel as I bent my RH recovery point on Friday night while doing a 3pt turn in the creek immediately below Macetown Flat. It could be argued that this a safety feature to avoid damage to the vehicle chassis that might occur if the recovery points were of high tensile steel.

Essentially one of the first things to consider if any thoughts of going off road not as exciting as those meaty tyres but piece of mind and possibly a requirement if attending off road meets. I purchased both front points while waiting for my rear K Bar tow bar to arrive. Both points were easy and enjoyable to fit the left fitted to the tie down point was the easiest with really no cut out in the bumber required , right sde needed a slot clipped out of the bumper but not visuable. did find bolts differ ( socket sizes ) from left to right but not a hindrance. Highly recommend at least one point with such a good price for security .

Installation of the Jimny recovery point was an absolute walk in the park to install. Requiring only 4 high tensile bolts and with minimal cutting of the lower plastic lip of the original bumper bar for a neat looking fit. It hangs just low enough for easy reach without compromising the approach angle of the car. Great value and delivered much earlier than I expected. Thank you.

nice strong anchor point for front of jimny .I have standard front bumper on my car and had to cut a slot in the plastic to allow this to fit , no big deal and generally simple to fit

These recovery points are made of really good quality metal and quite heavy duty . They were very easy to install. The red coating on them is great quality also . Great customer service and quick delivery . I will definitely be back for more parts for my beast !

This is the great recovery point on my Jimny. None of the other money making suppliers have one unless you spend $$ on their front bars.
