xNow you can mount a winch to the front of your Jimny without needing a big heavy bullbar!
The benefits of retaining the standard lightweight front bumper are well worth considering, especially if you don't plan on any real serious 4WDing. The added security of having a winch mounted to the front of your Jimny means you can explore further and worry less.
Winch mounting bolt pattern is 76mm x 167mm, but you can drill your own holes to fit whichever winch you like. The holes that are in the plate fits the following winches (and many more, of course):
Carbon Offroad 6000lb ATV/Small 4X4 Winch (this is my recommendation of the 3 options)
Fitting is relatively easy and does require some cutting of the grill in the front bumper.

Perfect fit very happy

The only negative I have is that the bolts going through the chassis only have washers on the outer side instead of a plate or crush tubes. When tightening up to any amount of firmness the box chassis deforms a little. The engineer in me says this is not ideal so I'll be sorting this out shortly.

The bracket is easy to install and took a couple of hours with the grill and bumper needing to be removed. The grill in the bumper needed to be modified, quickly done with a grinder once removed from the bumper. If you want the winch to be discrete then I recommend using a synthetic rope winch. This will give you the option of having a non roller fairlead that blends in better the the bumper. If you are trying to build an off road Jimny without adding lots of weight with heavey bars than this self recovery option is the way to go.
