KYB Skorched4's Heavy Duty Shocks for Suzuki Jimny (JB74)

Fitted new shocks a few weeks ago, very easy and quick to do.
My Jimny handles much better now, especially with cornering. Shingle roads are a breeze as the car feels very stable.

I was very skeptical about these, how could shocks make such a difference? It was the last mod I made but actually should have been the first! Doing it over I would do tires first as the stock ones are really really bad and then these….. No more rear end skipping around corners, much more planted on the road, huge difference in the wind, you still feel it but you don’t get pushed offline. Corrugations on shingle roads much more manageable, before they were dangerous. It is a firmer ride but totally worth it.

Ride is a little stiffer which is what I wanted. These shocks have a bit more travel, a lot beefier and stop the 'wallow' that you sometimes get when cornering, now my Jimny just skates around the corners.

My new to me Jimny 3 door handled like a sailing ship on the road from new.
I did a bit of research and thought the KYB Scorched 4s sounded worth a try.
Fitted a full set last week and what a difference!
Highly reccomend these shocks.

These shocks are a game changer, if you’re on the fence about purchasing them just do it you won’t regret it!!

Standard shocks are border line dangerous.put new shocks on my wifes 2021 jimny,180 turn around really gd.dont mind being a passenger now

Fitted them myself, the ride is a bit firmer now round town, but on the highway it's great. It's a lot more stable in the wind and at speed. Well worth it.

Very easy to fit, even for an old fella! Round town expect firmer/harsher ride. Open road, countryside amazing! Takes the stress out of Jimny driving. Haven't gone off-road or loose metal yet but I'm sure it will now go where it's pointed. Not cheap, but worth it for me to control the lunrching.
